Job Description
Ensures compliant handling of legal, regulatory, tax and reporting requirements of the legal entity SIS within the Sika Group; global IT financial management and controlling (definition and continuous improvement of processes, intercompany charging concepts, closings, reporting and analysis of Group IT figures as well as establishment and tracking of relevant KPIs) in alignment with the Group IT and business strategy; definition and operation of the IT Service Portfolio management incl. documentation, budgeting, invoicing and reporting of IT services on a global scale; owner of the IT budgeting process; serves as responsible within SIS as data processor for legal data protection activities; SIS contact for internal and external audits.
People management:
- Management of department personnel (staffing, development, performance appraisals, corrective actions, terminations)
- Ensure adequate training of the staff in alignment with their current responsibilities and future needs
- Enforce Sika's guiding Policies & Principles in the department
Financial management, budgeting and controlling:
- Overall responsibility for IT budgeting, planning and controlling
- Management and supervision of all financial activities of SIS (closings, asset accounting, budgeting, reporting, liquidity, invoicing, etc.)
- Collection, analysis and reporting of IT TCO globally
- Definition, tracking and reporting of relevant IT KPIs
- Effective cost management
- Support, ad-hoc analyses and consultancy for the SIS Management regarding all financial related matters
- Development, implementation and enhancements of MIS tools and reporting
IT Governance and Compliance:
- Develop and implement financial solutions and align it to other strategic group initiatives
- Responsible for the operation and execution of the Internal Control System for SIS
- Coordination and management of internal and external audits
- Complies and provides necessary information for local tax rules/audits
Service delivery management:
- Create, update, monitor of SLA and SLA cost allocations to Sika companies.
- Management of SL cost centers and service level agreements, budgeting and cost monitoring
- Provide SIS framework for SLA management and supporting local tax audits
Stakeholder Management and collaboration:
- Communicate and collaborate actively with the controller community and the data protection responsible.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in Finance & Controlling, ideally in an international IT or corporate environment.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, TCO analysis, KPIs, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of IT service cost structures, SLAs, and intercompany charging.
- Proven ability to lead a small team and manage internal/external resources.
- Strong service orientation with the ability to support internal stakeholders effectively.
- High innovation mindset and motivation to drive improvements, optimize processes, and modernize ways of working.
- Excellent ability to work with multiple stakeholders across IT, Finance, Compliance, and global/regional teams.
- Experience with internal controls, audits, compliance, and tax-relevant documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into clear insights for management.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar;
- Fluent English; German is an advantage.
